About the company
Robin’s Cupcakes was started by Blythe Gonzales in August of 2018. With the support of her family, she was successfully welcomed into the Scripps Ranch Farmer’s Market Community until its close in October 2018. Robin’s Cupcakes was then introduced to the La Jolla Open Aire Market from March 2019 to May 2019, before leaving the Farmer’s Market Community to focus on catering and custom orders.
Robin’s Cupcakes has catered custom-order cupcakes for student events at UCSD for more than a year and a half, including their Winter Warrenland celebration, Bearls 2020, and their Chinese New Year events. Robin’s Cupcakes has also provided cupcakes and custom cakes for wine tasting events, birthday parties, holiday parties, and more.
Robin’s Cupcakes has moved to Colorado in February 2021, and is now proudly serving the Parker+Denver areas!
Please note we are a cottage bakery, and do not have a storefront!
About the Owner
Blythe Gonzales is the founder and owner of Robin’s Cupcakes. She attributes her passion for baking to the numerous nights spent standing on a stool next to her Grandma as she baked everything from chocolate chip cookies to candy lollipops. Blythe loves taking her creative abilities and coming up with new ideas for cupcakes. Over everything, Blythe’s favorite part about baking cupcakes and cakes is being able to put a smile on people’s faces.
When Blythe isn’t brainstorming cupcakes or baking, she enjoys spending time with her family, her friends, and her dogs. She loves sports, animals, reading, and the outdoors, and loves her crazy, creative family. She was born in Providence, RI but was raised in San Diego, CA. She graduated from St. Mary’s College of California in Moraga, CA with a Bachelor of Arts in English with an emphasis in Creative Writing. Blythe is extremely grateful for the support she receives from her family, friends, and community. She hopes to one day own a food truck or store front for Robin’s Cupcakes so she can help spread smiles around San Diego and beyond.
